recent events evan’s orchestral work, alecto, was premiered at the 2008 contemporary music festival by the mannes orchestra, with guest conductor michael adelson. other composers performed included jennifer higdon, david tcimpidis, ryan chase, and leo edwards. the concert was held thursday may 1st, 2008, at mannes college. to listen to a recording of the work, click here. evan’s masters graduation recital was held wednesday, april 23rd at 8pm, at mannes college. it featured three new works, as well as an appearance by guest composer gilad cohen. to listen to recordings, visit the audio page. for a poster, click here. evan’s piano quartet, westward always, into the sun, won second prize in the jean schneider goberman/alaria competition. for more information, click here. |
